Care Ministry

Our pastoral care department serves the people of Tampa Bay and the citylife church body through development of quality relationships. Our goal is to practically demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ through the meeting of needs in our community through a well connected and thoroughly equipped church family.

Visitor Care
When people visit citylife church for the first, second, and third time they are welcomed in our Guest Reception area. Token gifts are given in appreciation for the opportunity to connect and share the vision of our church. Proper care and follow-up assure that needs are discovered and quality relationships are established.

Member Care
Members are partners with our ministry and membership has purpose and privilege. Our plan is to do ministry together as we are equipped and empowered by the ministry leadership team. Everyone has a place at citylife church to serve God and His people. We reach out to meet the needs of the Tampa Bay area while reaching in to our own church membership family.

Health Care
We have a biblical mandate to “prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper” and to that end we seek to bring health and healing to Tampa Bay. We are committed to making citylife church a healing center for our region and our members’ true examples of faith. Nutrition, exercise, the Word of God and prayer combine to keep us well. Should a member of our body become hospitalized we will be there to comfort and to pray the prayer of faith.

Family Care
The heart of citylife church is family life. We want to be family to everyone in the Tampa Bay area. In order to strengthen the family unit we offer teaching, counseling and focused prayer. Our goal is to see families restored to proper working order and all dysfunction eliminated. We are committed to meeting the needs of our church families and to reach out specifically to military families in our city as well.
