Contemporary Forerunners (60+)

Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come."- Psalm 78 :18

Our senior family includes people with adult children, retirees, grandparents, and widows/widowers. While there are various needs with seniors, all share the common need for salvation in Christ and a sense of being of value and productive servants of Jesus.

We’re here to help by providing opportunities for service, a community of friends, and a place for fellowship. You’ll discover that your time and talents are needed, your wisdom and willingness are valued, and your experience and expertise are important to us.

This group of Forerunners enjoys lunch at a local restaurant on the first Friday of each month.  They also enjoy a lively Bible study and singing of the old hymns of the church on Sundays at 9:15 am.   This group of senior adult’s outreach ministry is preparing the meals and serving at Friendship Bridge twice monthly.
