Mission Ministry - Across the Street and Around the World
Paul said in Romans 10: “how can they preach unless they are sent?” citylife church believes strongly that we must go into the entire world to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ through our financial, communication, mission trips and any other ways we can support missions in our city, our country, and around the world.
International Missions – In keeping with the theme “Across the Street and Around the World,” this ministry financially supports missionaries around the globe. We also support other agencies that send missionaries abroad. We are also involved with International Missions through regular short-term mission’s trips by providing medical, teaching and construction teams to assist local missionaries and pastors. The most recent trips have been to Nicaragua, the Philippines and Columbia.
National Missions – We are committed to sending teams stateside in response to natural disasters. We also serve locally through various outreaches to hospitals, construction projects, and community projects.
Missions Conference – Annually we hosts a three day Missions Conference with emphasis place on ministering to missionaries from around the world. This retreat like setting consists of seminars, fellowship, worship and a banquet. The purpose is to provide an opportunity to get know the missionaries and to offer an opportunity for them to be ministered to and to be made a part of our church family.
Mission Board – The citylife Missions Board consist of fifteen church members who assist the Senior Pastor and Missions Pastor in making decisions relevant to our goals, financial matters, and outreaches.
Missions Café – The Missions Ministry operates a citylife Missions Café before and after every service. The proceeds from the café goes toward the support of missions.
