University Community Ministries (UCM)

This ministry was birthed out of University Church and feeds the homeless on Saturday morning and on Sunday mornings immediately follow the 10:30 service.  UCM also sponsors Friendship Bridge, a ministry to the senior adult community who are over the age of 60.  Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 11 am in the Family Life Center with various educational seminars, fun activities and a delicious meal at a minimal price.  The goal of this ministry is to assist senior adults throughout this North Tampa Community to make new friends, to realize that someone truly loves them and to know that Jesus cares about all areas of their lives.
